The satyam automation Facing and Chamfering machine is a special purpose, highly versatile unit for facing, chamfering and cantering of cylindrical shafts. Accuracy and repeatability of these operations is critical for the location and alignment of parts in subsequent machining operations. In operation, two hydraulically-actuated self-cantering work holding vices hold the part accurately while a special tool performs the combined facing and chamfering operation.
